Global Football Development Programmes

1. All participants in the Player Development Programme (the "Participants") must pay the appropriate course fee in full prior to the commencement of the Player Development Programme. If a Participant has not paid the course fee prior to commencement, the Club reserves the right to refuse participation in the relevant Player Development Programme.

2. A Player Development Programme booking is non-refundable, however, such booking may be cancelled up to seven (7) calendar days prior to the Player Development Programme commencement date and the Club will credit the account used to make the booking with an amount equivalent to the full price of the course fee (the "Credit"). The Credit can be used to book on a future Player Development Programme. Please note, any Credit shall be valid for twelve (12) calendar months from the date such Credit was issued, at which point such Credit will expire.

3. If, before the Credit expires or is used, the Participant turns twelve (12) years old such Credit shall be available to be transferred to a sibling or friend at the discretion of the Club. Please contact soccer.schools@tottenhamhotspur.com if you have any questions regarding such transfer.

4. All Player Development Programmes are subject to change due to factors beyond our control, this includes but is not limited to strikes, lock-outs or other industrial disputes, nuclear accidents, acts of God, war or terrorist activity, riot, civil commotion, accident, failure of technical facilities, fire, flood, storm, epidemic, pandemic, FA and or/government advice, venue availability, insufficient bookings or any other fact beyond the reasonable of the Club. If the Club has to cancel a session, your account will be credited with an amount equivalent to the full price of the course fee. No further compensation will be offered, and the Club accepts no liability for any direct or indirect loss arising from any such cancellation or change.

5. The Participant will be taking part in physical activity, by agreeing to these terms and conditions you acknowledge the reasonable risks associated with children undertaking such activity. It is your responsibility to ensure that the Participant is physically fit and able to participate in the sporting activities and accordingly you accept all risks resulting from participation in the Player Development Programme. We may require additional information on the medical information supplied to us by you before we can accept your booking.

6. In the event that the Participant needs medical attention during any Player Development Programme, you agree that the Club may provide and/or arrange for any appropriate and necessary treatment. You must provide the Club with an emergency contact (at the foot of this booking form) in order for your child to participate in the Player Development Programme.

7. The Club is not responsible for providing personal equipment to Participants, for example shin pads, water bottles and (if applicable) goal keeping gloves (the "Equipment"). You acknowledge and accept that if your child attends any Player Development Programme session without the required Equipment, their participation in the session may not be permitted and that you will not be entitled to a refund for any sessions missed for this reason.

8. As parent or guardian of the Participant, you confirm that you have read and fully understood these terms and conditions. By accepting these terms and conditions, you accept full liability, including financial responsibility, for any loss, damage, personal injury, death or loss of property sustained by the Participant during the event. The Club shall accept no responsibility for any of the above, other than in respect of losses which cannot be excluded or limited by law.

9. We ask that you make the Club aware of any safeguarding risks that our coaching team may need to be aware of in order to look after the Participant to the fullest, whether these be at home or associated with their involvement in the sessions. 10. In the event of any complaints in respect of the Player Development Programme, please consult our Complaints Policy (available here ).

11. The safety and wellbeing of all Participants attending our Player Development Programme is of utmost importance. We therefore reserve the right to remove, without notice and without refund, any Participant who is found (in the sole discretion of the Club) to violate our Participant Code of Conduct (available here).

12. You are solely responsible for arranging and paying for the Participant's travel to and from the venue. If you elect for the Participant to travel home from the session unattended, they must be over the age of eleven (11) at the date of the particular session. All sessions shall conclude before 17:00 (UK time) and you must have given your explicit consent via the Walking Home Consent Form provided by the Club. Until such form has been completed, returned and approved by the Club, no Participant shall be permitted to leave the session unaccompanied. Where relevant, the provisions of Condition 18 below will apply.

13. On occasion, as part of our Player Development Programme Participants may receive gifts, player packs, rewards or prizes. Any items received by the Participant from the Club are non-transferable, non-refundable and there will be no cash alternative available. Refunds or exchanges of any such items will not be possible at the Club shop. The Club reserves the right to substitute any advertised gift, prize or player pack for something of its choosing which has a value the same or greater than the original item. All items are therefore subject to availability and subject to change.

14. From time to time and where advertised, players from the Club's First Team may make an appearance at selected sessions. The Club reserves the right to cancel any such player appearance at short (or on no) notice.

15. If you are not the Participant's parent or guardian, you confirm that you have made such parent or guardian fully aware of this booking and of these terms and conditions (and that they have agreed to them).

16. All Participants must be dropped off and picked up punctually.

17. Due to safety concerns, no Participant is to be dropped off later than fifteen (15) minutes after the designated registration time has closed. If any Participant is late to the session, their participation in the session may not be permitted and you shall not be entitled to a refund of any fees paid. We ask that any known delays, for example a doctor's appointment, are notified to the Club as soon as possible so that access arrangements can be made to allow participation in the session.

18. If any Participant is collected more than fifteen (15) minutes after the designated collection time following the session, we reserve the right to charge an additional fee for costs incurred by the Club as a result of the delayed collection.

19. Whilst the Player Development Programme maintains a link with the Tottenham Hotspur Academy (the "Academy"), you acknowledge that your child's participation in a Player Development Programme in no way guarantees an invitation to a trial for the Academy and that due to the number of Participants, we cannot guarantee individual feedback for your child.

20. We regularly review the FA's Guidance for Grassroots Football with regards to appropriate player groupings based on age, ability and maturation. This is always down to the discretion of our staff to ensure maximum benefit for all Participants.

21. The Club reserves the right at any time to change, rescind or amend these terms and conditions and any such changes will be notified to you promptly.

22. These terms and conditions and your booking shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of England and Wales and shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
